About The Buena
The Buena is a pub on Middle Head Road in Mosman, trading seven days from midday. Its function spaces sit around the Vista Bar, and the same building is also home to the Bistro Mosman restaurant. Groups of 20 or more are handled by the events team; smaller groups can simply book a table. There are three areas to choose from, and all of them are semi-private rather than closed rooms. The Atrium is a light-filled space with hanging greenery, bench seating, a big screen and plenty of standing room for around 60. Blue Lane runs alongside the Vista Bar with high stools and large tables; with the furniture cleared it holds about 70 for a cocktail party, and curtains can be pulled along its length to screen the group off. The Deck is a timber mezzanine above the bar with a TV and full-height windows, seating 30 or holding 40 standing. For the whole Vista Bar, talk to the events team. Food is built around canapé packages: six pieces for $45 per person, seven for $55 or ten for $65, with individual canapés, share platters, a grazing board and pizzas also on offer. Dietary needs can be catered for on request. Drinks run on a bar tab or a package, with the Gold package from $65 per person for two hours and Platinum from $80, each with soft drinks and alcohol-free choices thrown in. A TV connection is available, but the venue does not allow AV equipment or microphones in its function areas.

What food packages are available?
Canapé packages cost $45 per person for six pieces, $55 for seven and $65 for ten. You can also order individual canapés (minimum 20 pieces), platters, a grazing board and pizzas.
What drinks options are there?
You can run a bar tab or take a drinks package. The Gold package costs $65 per person for two hours, $75 for three and $85 for four; Platinum costs $80, $90 and $100. Soft drinks, juice and alcohol-free choices come with both.
Can we use a microphone or bring AV gear?
No. The spaces have TVs you can connect to, but AV equipment and microphones are not permitted in the function areas.
How do bookings and payment work?
A deposit confirms the booking, with the amount set by the date and group size. Menus and dietary requirements are due seven business days before, and final numbers and the balance five business days before. Any bar tab is settled on the day.
