About St. George Leagues Club

St. George Leagues Club is a large club on the Princes Highway at Kogarah, closely tied to the St George Illawarra Dragons. Alongside its brasserie, café and Chinese restaurant, it runs a dedicated functions team and four private rooms for birthdays, anniversaries, school formals, corporate events and wakes, with plenty of free parking on site. Non-members sign in with ID on arrival. The Grange is the largest room at 500 square metres, with a private outdoor terrace, its own bar and televisions for slideshows; it takes up to 300 standing or about 150 at banquet tables, with the option of adding a stage and a dance floor. The Mahogany Room, 270 square metres with big windows, private bathrooms, its own bar and lift access, holds 180 standing or 130 seated. The Spirit of the Red V Museum lets up to 150 guests mingle among a century of Dragons memorabilia, with a bar and terrace, and the Team of the Century room suits groups of around 60. Room hire runs from $300 for a half day and covers setup, linen, AV connectivity, a smart screen, microphone and event staff. Catering is in-house: canapé packages start at $40 per person, alternate-serve menus at $60, share menus at $80, and there are grazing platters and live food stations. Drinks can run on a bar tab, a cash bar or a beverage package. Optional extras include a DJ, photobooth, balloons, red carpet, chair covers and accent lighting.
