About Bungalow Bar & Balcony @ Bungalow 8
Bungalow 8 is a waterfront bar, restaurant and club at 3 Lime Street on King Street Wharf, with a leafy tropical look, bookable cabanas and late trading until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Bungalow Bar & Balcony is the level upstairs, with its own entrance, and it is the venue's main private party space. Wynyard station and the Barangaroo ferry wharf are each less than three minutes' walk away. Taken exclusively, Bungalow Bar & Balcony holds up to 400 guests cocktail-style. Inside there is a long bar that lights up as the evening goes on, velvet banquettes, lounge chairs and patterned wallpaper; outside, a fully covered balcony runs across the first floor with clear views over Darling Harbour, so it works in any weather. The level can also be split: the Lounge (90), the Northern and Southern Lounges (150 each) and Balconies B, C and D (50 each) are booked as semi-private sections. Downstairs, the terraces and Side Terrace take groups from 30, and the whole ground floor takes 1,200. Canapé packages are $50, $61 or $76 per person for six, eight or ten pieces, with at least 20 guests, and grazing stations such as paella, tacos or cheese and charcuterie ($30 to $33 per person) can be added to a canapé package. Drinks packages cost from $53 per person for two hours, and a bar tab or cash bar is also possible. The events team can book DJs, photo booths, mirror and 360 video booths and photographers, and arrange a door host or security at $55 per hour.
