About Outwest Audio
Outwest Audio is a small sound hire business run by Neville Rolls from Doonside in western Sydney. It supplies speakers, mixers, microphones and lights for parties, weddings, conferences and presentations, and it also looks after musicians, bands and DJs who need a bigger rig for a gig. Neville's own photos show the systems at work in function rooms, clubs and outdoor events, from a pair of speakers beside a dance floor to a full band setup with monitors and lighting. The simplest option is driveway hire. You collect powered speakers from Doonside, Neville shows you how everything connects, and you plug in and play at home or at the venue. Popular packages include a pair of 15 inch Bluetooth speakers with stands, RCF 715 MK4 or Yamaha DXR15 pairs, and combinations with one or two subwoofers for more bass. Microphones come from Shure, Sennheiser, AKG and Audix, and light bars with moving patterns, lasers and moving heads can be added to brighten a room. For bands and larger functions Outwest Audio offers a band PA with front of house speakers, foldback, a 12 channel Soundcraft desk and a set of microphones, and a concert production package built on Yamaha DZR tops and DXS18 subs with a Midas digital mixer and lighting, set up and operated for you. Pickup and return times are flexible, and delivery and setup can be arranged when you would rather not handle the gear yourself. Bookings are made directly with Neville by phone.
