About Bike Buffs
Bike Buffs is an Australian-owned bike tour company that sets off each morning from Argyle Park in Millers Point, opposite the Garrison Church. Its founder has been cycling the city since 1968, and the tours lean on that local knowledge to reach corners most visitors never find. Groups are kept small, with about ten to twelve riders for each guide, and the format is flexible enough to change course to suit the people on the ride. The Bigspin Day Tour leaves at 10.30am every day and runs for around four hours. It crosses the Harbour Bridge and takes in Observatory Hill, Luna Park, Walsh Bay, the Opera House, Mrs Macquarie's Chair, Hyde Park and the Fish Market, with plenty of stops for photos and a break for lunch at your own cost. Shorter options split the day in two: a morning ride over the bridge to Kirribilli and Lavender Bay, and an afternoon loop of the city's famous landmarks. Bikes, helmets and chilled water are supplied, and the guides share a photo essay of the group at the end. For work teams, friends and celebrations, Bike Buffs plans private and corporate rides to a set time frame and route, and has hosted executive groups, school groups and bachelorette parties. Let the team know about a birthday, retirement or anniversary in advance and they can help make it an occasion. Children are welcome, with kids' bikes and baby seats available if booked ahead, and the routes stay mostly on cycle paths, parks and dedicated lanes. Bookings are taken by text or email.

Lunch isn't included. The group stops at a café, the Sydney Fish Market or for a picnic in the Botanic Gardens, at each rider's own expense.
