About R&L Magical Moments
R&L Magical Moments is run by Rainer and Linh, a Sydney couple working out of Wetherill Park who combine photo booth hire with wedding and event styling. Their booth line-up covers four quite different experiences: Pixie, a robot booth that roams the room and takes photos wherever guests are; a full-length mirror booth with personalised prints; a 360 video platform that films slow-motion clips for sharing; and a retro-style booth with a modern finish. They work weddings most often, along with engagements, birthdays, school formals and corporate brand activations. Every booth hire comes with an attendant who sets up before guests arrive, keeps things running and helps people with poses and props. Guests can use the booth as often as they like, with unlimited instant prints, a print template designed around the event or brand, quick digital copies by email and an online gallery afterwards. Props and backdrops are supplied, or you can bring your own. Most booths need roughly a three by three metre space and a standard power point, and they are designed mainly for indoor use, away from direct sun. The same team also styles venues with silk florals, and hires out floral arches, backdrops, greenery, light-up letters, cold spark fountains, low-lying dry ice and LED CO2 guns. Having one supplier handle both the look of the room and the entertainment is a big part of their pitch, and they keep floral bookings to two per date. A 50 per cent deposit secures a booking, the balance is due 14 days out, and popular dates fill quickly, so early enquiries are encouraged.

How much does a photo booth cost?
No prices are published. The cost depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need and how much customisation is involved, so ask for a quote. Booth hire starts at a three-hour minimum.
How far ahead should I book, and what deposit is needed?
Book as early as you can, as peak dates go quickly. A non-refundable 50 per cent deposit confirms the booking and the balance is due 14 days before the event. Floral styling is limited to two bookings per date.
What space and power does a booth need?
Allow about three by three metres, depending on the booth, plus a standard power point. The booths are built mainly for indoor use; outdoor set-ups need weather cover and should avoid direct sunlight.
