Christmas Party Venues in Mona Vale

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

Planning an office Christmas party at the top of the peninsula? Mona Vale gives a work team a choice between beach and club.

Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club lists work Christmas parties among its bookings, and its upstairs rooms on Surfview Road look over the beach and ocean pool. The Basin Dining Room below it takes end-of-year parties, while the club up Mona Vale Road, Pittwater RSL, runs events across ten spaces with plenty of parking on site.

Choosing a Mona Vale room by team size:

A leadership dinner: the Chef's Table at Pittwater RSL seats 18
A team lunch of 10 to 20: a group booking at The Basin Dining Room, from $82 per person
An office of 70 or so seated: exclusive use of The Basin Dining Room, which seats 76
Around 100 for a sit-down with presentations: the surf club's Ocean Pool Room, with a screen and two cordless mics
A whole company: Rock Lilly, the RSL auditorium, with a stage, projector and private bar

The surf club suits a lunch or early evening, since the balconies shut at 10pm; the RSL's auditorium and lounges run the bigger nights.

Pickleball on the RSL's five outdoor courts gives graduates and managers a common game
The Distillery's fireplace and big windows at the RSL suit people who'd rather talk than dance
The surf club's Cook Terrace Bar makes a pre-drinks area before everyone moves into the Ocean Pool Room
Catering HQ adjusts its menus for dietary needs across a big workforce

Money matters for December

At the RSL the bar can run as a capped tab, be charged on consumption, or be pay-your-own
The Basin Dining Room adds a 10% service charge to tables of ten or more, with surcharges on Sundays and public holidays
Surf club hire covers exclusive use of your space, the balconies and the AV
Drinks packages at The Basin Dining Room can be arranged on request
