About Mirko Zhou
Sydney magician Mirko Zhou has more than ten years of professional experience, with shows in several countries. He discovered magic in primary school through a book of simple tricks with everyday objects, practised every day, and eventually turned it into a career. His work has ranged from roaming close-up sets to stage shows and charity performances, at intimate gatherings and large events alike. His magic combines refined sleight of hand with considered presentation, and he designs his routines to be interactive and original so guests stay involved rather than just watching. Roaming magic brings small groups together as he moves around the room, while stage performances use larger visual effects such as flower and confetti productions for audiences in function rooms, lecture theatres and community events. Mirko performs at weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and private celebrations, and tailors each performance to the occasion and audience. For corporate clients he positions magic as a way to break the ice, help people relax and support the brand message rather than as a standard singer or band. For private parties, every guest gets a chance to take part in their own piece of magic. Performance videos are available on his site, and bookings are quoted after an enquiry.
