About Illusionist Junho
Illusionist Junho is the stage name of Song Jun-ho, a Sydney-based magician and visual illusion artist who has worked professionally for over two decades. His bookings span corporate functions, weddings, private parties, trade shows and cruise ships, and he also creates new illusions and advises theatre and film productions on magic. That experience comes through in how he plans a performance: instead of a set routine, each show is built around who's watching, where, and why they've gathered. He offers three kinds of act. Roving close-up magic happens right in front of guests as he goes from one group to the next with cards, coins, rings and things borrowed from the audience, giving each table a brief show of its own. The stage show gathers the whole room for a theatre-style act of visual illusions, mentalism, audience involvement and gentle comedy, and works for crowds from about 100 up to well beyond 1,000. Chinese face changing, known as Bian Lian, is a Sichuan opera tradition where masks switch in an instant in front of the audience, and a favourite at corporate events, multicultural festivals and Lunar New Year. There's also a combined package, with roving magic as guests arrive or during pre-dinner drinks, then a stage show later on. For roving magic there's nothing to set up: no stage, microphone or performance space, just a safe spot for his briefcase between sets. Nobody is put on the spot or pushed to volunteer, and he picks his moments instead of breaking into conversations. He coordinates with planners and venue staff and adjusts if the schedule shifts during the event.

Performance Details
The stage magic show is a theatre-style set for the whole room, built from visual illusions, mentalism, audience participation and comedy, and works for audiences from around 100 to more than 1,000 people. Chinese face changing is a short feature act of rapid mask transformations performed in full view.
The combination package runs roving magic earlier in the event and the stage show as a finale. Each performance is planned in advance around the venue, the audience and the running order, and Junho works alongside your event planners and venue staff on the night.
