About Adam Dean
Adam Dean is a Sydney magician, illusionist and comedian who has been working professionally for more than 25 years. He has performed in more than 30 countries, on 16 international cruises and in casinos, theatres and corporate venues, and has entertained over a thousand corporate clients while averaging around 150 corporate events a year. The act blends sleight of hand, grand illusion and stand-up comedy, with audience participation carrying much of the show. There are several formats to choose from. The Comedy Magic Stage Show combines close sleight of hand, mind reading, levitations and fire effects with comedy and audience interaction, and works for audiences from around ten people up to ten thousand. The Comedy Illusion Show is the larger version, built around grand illusions, an assistant, show dancers and fire, and needs a stage with good lighting. Close Up Magic is the roving option, performed a couple of feet from guests during pre-dinner drinks and cocktail hours, and is often used as an icebreaker at corporate functions. Adam also works as Master of Ceremonies, running the room and the run sheet with a mix of formality and comedy, and a virtual show is available for online events. For corporate bookings he works with the client beforehand to fold the event's key message into the show, and volunteers can be chosen in advance so particular people become the focus.
