About Adam Mada
Adam Mada, known as Mr Magic, has been performing and designing magic and illusion shows internationally for more than 25 years. Alongside live work he is head of magic, illusion and practical effects at NIDA, was magic and illusion consultant, designer and director on the Netflix series Wonka – The Golden Ticket, and coached the illusions for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Australia. He is also the founder of Magic Inc. and the creator of the touring family show Mada's Magic Marvels, which began as a Sydney Opera House commission in 2020. For events there are three main formats. The corporate stage show runs 25 to 30 minutes, with other time slots available on request, and is built for formal gala dinners and large scale cocktail functions: the magic kettle that pours any drink, tables that fly across the stage, wine bottles that appear for a toast, and audience members taking a starring role. Roving cocktail magic works the room instead of the stage, using guests' own objects such as phones and keys, and suits both intimate events and big corporate galas. As MC and host he carries routines from the stage show through the night while keeping the running order on track. Every stage and MC booking includes free mix and mingle roving cocktail magic where the event suits it. Product launch work is the fourth strand, with custom routines built around a brand, product or VIP, including reveals using fire and floating effects. Clients have included Atlassian, BMW, NAB, Philips, LG, Myer, Coca-Cola and Isagenix, and he was the resident magician at the SLIDE venues for eight years. For larger events he can bring in a national team of roving magicians to work the room alongside his own show. Bookings are handled through Magic Inc. in Marrickville.

Can the show be built around our brand or product?
Yes. Custom product launch performances can make a product appear or float, reveal a VIP or CEO, and theme the routines around a brand or message. Past launch work includes BMW, Philips, LG and Isagenix.
Can he cover a large event on his own?
For bigger functions Adam has a national team of roving magicians who can work the room alongside him or during one of his stage shows, so several areas of a venue can be covered at once.
