About Manon Tea Room
Manon Tea Room sits on the first floor of Chatswood Chase and runs as both a sit-down tea room and a loose-leaf tea shop. High tea is on offer every day of the week, and the kitchen also serves breakfast, lunch and a pastry counter, so non-tea drinkers in a group have plenty to choose from. Its teas are sourced across India, China, Sri Lanka and South America, and the business belongs to the Ethical Tea Partnership. The traditional high tea brings a set of sweet and savoury pastries, finger sandwiches and a scone with preserves and cream, with a pot of tea or a coffee. From there you can add a glass of Australian sparkling wine, a cocktail, a glass of Taittinger, or bottomless sparkling and mimosas over a two-hour sitting. Children have a smaller afternoon tea of their own, and on weekday mornings a lighter morning tea is served until midday. A wine list, cocktails and beer are on hand for anyone who wants something other than tea. For birthdays, showers and family get-togethers, the tea room takes group and event enquiries through its contact page, with lunch and early-evening times available. Bookings are recommended for weekends and public holidays, although walk-ins are seated when there is room. Outside food and drink are not allowed, including celebration cakes. The room is on one flat level with wheelchair access, prams are welcome, and parking is in the Chatswood Chase car park.

Frequently asked questions
How much is high tea at Manon?
The traditional high tea is $75 a guest. Sparkling ($80), cocktail ($90), two-hour bottomless ($100) and Taittinger Champagne ($125) versions are also on the menu.
Is high tea available on weekdays?
Yes. High tea is served seven days a week during opening hours, and a lighter morning tea runs Monday to Friday from 9am until midday.
Can we bring a birthday cake?
No. The tea room does not allow any outside food or drink, and that includes celebration cakes, so plan the sweet course around the high tea itself.
Are children welcome at high tea?
Yes. There is a children's afternoon tea with hot chocolate, juice or soft drink for $45, and high chairs can be requested. Every guest aged five and over orders at least one menu item.
Where do we park?
Parking is inside the Chatswood Chase shopping centre. The tea room is on Level 1, on a single flat level that is wheelchair accessible and pram friendly.
