About Poppin Picnics

Poppin Picnics is a Sydney pop-up picnic business that has styled more than 2,000 picnics, working mainly around the harbour and the city's big parks. Bookings are built online, and once the deposit is in you receive the company's guide to good picnic spots. On the day the team arrives early, lays out the whole setting at your location, and returns when your time is up to pack everything away. Its patch takes in the Northern Beaches, the Eastern Suburbs, the Inner West, the city and the Lower North Shore, provided there is parking or an unloading spot close by. The group picnic package is the main party option: low tables, rugs and cushions, candles and decor, crockery, glassware, cutlery and napkins, faux florals and drink buckets, for three hours or four with 30 or more guests. It costs $60 a guest plus GST for ten or more, with a $370 plus GST minimum for smaller groups. A basic setup-only package and a dining package with high tables and chairs are also offered. Kids' parties cost $50 a child plus GST with a $500 minimum and run for two and a half hours in themes such as Fairy, Dinosaur, Frozen and Teddy Bear. Catering is optional, from $35 a guest, or you can bring your own food. Extras include a photographer for $220, live music, a kids' entertainer, umbrellas, cane chairs and lawn games, plus group activities such as flower crown making, dance classes and cocktail making. What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel with 14 or more days' notice for a full refund, or 5 to 14 days for half. Inside five days the booking is not refundable. One weather reschedule is offered when rain or storms make the picnic impractical.
