About Celebration Kit
Celebration Kit is a Miranda business run by founder Melanie, who started it as Picnic Kit before widening the offer to kids' parties and full event styling. The team arrives before you, builds the whole setting at your chosen park, beach, backyard or hall, then comes back afterwards to pack everything down and take it away for washing. Indoor setups at homes, hired venues and community halls are also available, which doubles as a fallback when rain threatens. The adults' picnic is the core product. It includes handmade white picnic tables, boho rugs and cushions, placemats, linen napkins, gold cutlery, wine and water glasses, dried or fresh flowers, candles or lanterns, a drinks tub and a personalised welcome board, all for a three-hour booking. Prices run from $250 for one or two people (with a grazing board for two thrown in) to $350 for six, then $45 a guest for larger groups. Themes include Neutral Boho, Signature Pink, Beach Bliss and Lemon Deluxe, and custom palettes can be arranged. For children there are two party formats at $35 a child: a low-table picnic on rugs, or kid-sized tables and chairs, each with themed tableware, balloons, a table runner and a name sign. For baby showers, hens parties, intimate weddings and corporate functions, the event styling service costs $55 a guest and covers tables, linen, white chairs, crockery, gold cutlery, dried florals and decor, with a consultation and styling concept first. Optional extras include share platters, a backyard cinema and a paint session. A 50 per cent deposit holds the date, and booking two to four weeks ahead is recommended for weekends.
