About All Things Picnic
All Things Picnic is a Sydney styling business founded by creative director Joita Karmokar. It sets up fully serviced picnics indoors and out, at parks, beaches and backyards across Sydney, with favourite spots including Kirribilli, Lavender Bay and Paddington Reservoir. The team prepares and styles the setting, then clears it away afterwards, and each picnic follows one of the in-house themes such as Botanica, Moroccan, Amalfi Coast, Boho Dreams, Arabian Nights and Blue Oasis. Packages include food. The picnic for two costs $370 for two and a half hours with a grazing platter and wine or a soft drink. The signature group picnic is from $390 for three or four guests, $600 for five or six, $700 for seven or eight and $800 for nine, with a grazing platter and non-alcoholic drinks, and lasts between two and a half and four hours. Groups of up to 80 can be catered for. Proposal setups start at $500. Guests sit at handmade tables among throws, rugs and cushions, with tableware, linen napkins, glassware, centrepieces, lanterns and candles supplied, and extra lighting for evening bookings. If you would rather arrange your own food, the setup can be hired and styled on its own. Beyond picnics, the business styles children's parties with balloon pieces, teepees and themed backdrops, corporate launches and end-of-year events, and weddings and engagement parties with custom backdrops, arbours and florals. Cultural styling covers Mehndi, Haldi and Nikkah, including mandaps, stage dressing and marigold pieces. Halal, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and nut-free food can be arranged.
