About JKD Studio

JKD Studio is a Sydney event and wedding styling studio based in Wetherill Park. Its signature is premium silk florals, arranged into full statement pieces for backdrops, arches, aisles and tables, so colours can be matched to any theme. The studio says every photo on its site comes from events it has styled itself. Weddings are a big part of the work, but it styles engagements, birthdays, christenings, baby showers and corporate events as well. For parties, the event packages are the place to start. The Christening package pairs an illuminated ripple arch with a plinth, three silk floral arrangements, personalised signage and a vintage-style high chair, and also suits first birthdays and naming days. Baby in Bloom is a baby shower and gender reveal backdrop with a pregnancy decal, and Attrape, Tropical Tranquility and Amber Blossom are general celebration backdrops built around illuminated 3D arches, plinths, signage and florals. Floral plinths, candle arrangements, table centrepieces, welcome signs, seating charts and selfie mirrors can be added, and larger floral installations and Asian tea ceremony setups are also available. A booking is held with a 50% deposit, with the balance due seven days before the event and a refundable bond collected on top. The team needs at least an hour to set up, so confirm bump-in and bump-out times with your venue. Once the event finishes you leave everything in place and the team packs down and collects it; the bond is returned within five business days. Dates can be moved up to seven days out, subject to availability.

The Christening package is $750. Baby in Bloom, Attrape, Tropical Tranquility and Amber Blossom backdrop packages are $800, the Paradoxe floral plinth with candles is $850, and larger floral backdrops such as Filante, Myriad and Stellar run from $1,300 to $2,500. Asian tea ceremony backdrops cost $900 to $2,200. Welcome signs are $200 and seating charts $300. Bridal tables, wedding packages and some table centrepieces are quoted on enquiry. A refundable bond applies to every booking.

Service Details

Every package is delivered, set up and packed down by the JKD Studio team. Allow at least an hour for setup, and give the booking form your venue access details and where you want the piece placed. Florals are premium silk rather than fresh, so colours can be customised and nothing wilts on the day. Deposits are 50%, with the balance due seven days before the event. In-person consultations at the Wetherill Park studio are for weddings only; other events are booked by enquiry.
