About September Studio

September Studio is a flower studio and cafe on Boundary Street in Darlinghurst. Alongside bouquets and weekly flowers for homes, it services hotels, restaurants and office buildings, and designs flowers for weddings, events and brand collaborations. The look is recognisable: seasonal stems in strong colours, built into sculptural shapes that respond to the architecture of a room, and wrapped bouquets in its own heavy paper. Event work ranges from intimate dinners to large brand campaigns. The studio has created installations and workshops for Golden Goose in five cities, Sydney among them, travelled to Chamonix to gather wildflowers for The North Face, and collaborated with Mercedes-Benz Vans. For a Sydney host that experience shows up as installations that hold their own in photographs, whether the brief is a product launch, a long dinner table or a statement piece for an entrance. Every job follows the same three steps. The team first learns about the event in full, including the space, timing and the tone you want. It then presents a small number of design directions covering composition, palette and scale, so you can see how the flowers will sit in the room. Once a direction is chosen, the team builds the pieces and puts them in place at the venue. Enquiries go through a form that asks about budget, venue, your planner or producer and how you imagine the flowers being presented, from ground arrangements to hanging pieces.
