About Nunu Designs
Nunu Designs is the studio of Steph, a florist and stylist working by appointment from Miranda in the Sutherland Shire. Before floristry she worked in visual merchandising, and that shows in how she approaches a room: flowers, candles, linen and signage are designed as one picture rather than sourced piecemeal. Weddings are a large part of the business, but the studio also designs for private celebrations and corporate clients across Sydney, the Southern Highlands and the South Coast. For private events, Nunu creates florals and styling for engagement parties, bridal showers and kitchen teas, baby showers and christenings, birthdays and anniversaries, intimate dinners and farewells, as well as celebrations of life. Designs can go lush and bold, soft and romantic or clean and minimal, and each one is shaped around the venue and the mood the host wants. The gallery shows long lunch tables heavy with colourful blooms, cake tables framed in flowers and statement arrangements for harbourside rooms. On the corporate side, Steph and her team work on product launches, gala dinners, conferences, brand activations and venue openings, designing arrangements and installations that reflect a brand's identity. Its client list takes in drinks brands, an activewear label and a major tennis tournament. Event florals are custom quoted based on the flowers and scale involved, and the studio also offers weekly flowers and a regular refresh service for homes and businesses. Enquiries receive a reply within 48 hours. Nunu Designs suits hosts in the south of Sydney and beyond who want one person to take care of both the flowers and the styling.
