About Floreat
Floreat is a floral design studio in Liverpool Lane, Darlinghurst, founded by Jane Lampe in 2010 in a North Bondi garage. Jane grew up in Narrabri, and the studio's look draws on that country garden: soft, natural arrangements with an unstructured shape, using flowers and foliage grown locally wherever possible. Alongside a flower delivery shop and weekly office arrangements, Floreat does flowers for corporate events, private parties and weddings. Party work on its events blog includes a surprise 50th at a Woollahra home, a 30th birthday table in Newtown with blossom hung from the lights, and a 60th held in a private room at the Woollahra Hotel, dressed with a mantelpiece feature and low banks of roses. On the corporate side, the team has created flowers for Christmas parties, brand and product launches, awards nights, a McGrath Foundation fundraiser and wine dinners, often matching blooms to a company's logo or colours. Floreat is the preferred florist at Grana and other Housemade Hospitality venues and at the Cruising Yacht Club in Rushcutters Bay. Most event briefs are for table arrangements, entrance pieces or statement installations, and designs are built to the theme, venue and season rather than picked from a fixed menu. The studio at 2 Liverpool Lane is open by appointment, and enquiries go through email, phone or the website form. Event prices aren't published, so share your date, venue, number of tables and the look you're after for a quote. Packaging for bouquets is biodegradable, reusable or recycled where possible.
