About DJ Lambam
DJ Lambam is a Sydney party DJ whose home ground is the music he grew up on: soul, funk, R&B, hip hop, disco and house, from 70s classics through to recent tracks. He also plays open-format commercial music, so the pop and dance hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s sit comfortably in the same set for a mixed-age crowd. With Samoan and New Zealand heritage, he brings a genuine feel for Māori and Polynesian music, from Māori reggae and soul to Pacific island reggae and traditional songs. That makes him a natural fit for a whānau gathering, a church or community celebration, or any party where island music matters to the guests. Nearly everything he plays is mixed live, with beat-matched transitions that keep the energy moving instead of stopping and starting between tracks. Requests are welcome, and if you have built a Spotify or Apple Music playlist he will draw your chosen songs into the night. He works with you from the first conversation, so share ideas and special requests early and he will plan around them. He arrives with his own sound and lighting gear and sets up before guests arrive. Past bookings range from milestone birthdays at home to events at the Hordern Pavilion. He does not publish prices on his site, so send the date, venue and guest numbers through for a quote.
