DJ Appolo Entertainment

About DJ Appolo Entertainment

DJ Appolo Entertainment is a Sydney DJ business run by Paul Khoury out of Granville. It has been supplying DJs for more than 16 years, mostly to families celebrating in Lebanese, Arabic, Egyptian and Greek communities, though the DJs play English and Italian music too and will mix all of it across one night. They travel anywhere in Sydney and to outer regions, and hold public liability insurance. The core booking is a DJ with sound, music and lighting. From there you can build out the night: zaffe and tabel drummers for an entrance, belly dancers, a Lebanese live band, live flute and saxophone, fireworks, dry ice and an MC to keep formalities on track. The business also sells dry ice wholesale to reception centres and other suppliers around Sydney, so the low cloud effect for an entrance or first dance is handled in-house rather than subcontracted. The team works across a wide spread of family and community events. Weddings, engagements and pre-wedding parties are a big share of the work, alongside holy communions, baptisms and christenings, kateb ktab ceremonies, proposals, birthdays, private parties, school functions and balls, discos and corporate functions. Because they deal regularly with Sydney photographers, videographers and reception centres, they can also help line up the rest of the entertainment if you want one contact for the whole event. Bookings are made by phone or through the enquiry form, where you give the function type, date, venue and start and finish times.
