About Straight Down The Line Promotions

Straight Down The Line Promotions is a promotions and entertainment agency in Winston Hills, in Sydney's north-west, and Christmas is its headline business. It supplies Santa Claus, Mother Claus and Santa helpers, and can add Christmas craft tables or run a Breakfast with Santa. Its Santas appear at private parties, schools, sporting events, community clubs and corporate functions as well as shopping centre Santa sets, and they will also do a FaceTime or Zoom call or record a message when a visit isn't practical. Each Santa arrives in a red and white suit with a deluxe white beard, curly wig, glasses and jingle bells, padding included where needed. All of them have been through Santa School and hold a working with children check for the state they work in, which is the first thing most schools and childcare centres ask about. The agency also hires Santa suits, boots and ornate Santa chairs, so a club or office setting up its own Santa photo corner can source the props from the same place. Santas are available for Christmas in July functions too. The business started in Sydney retail promotions more than 25 years ago and works with shopping centres, councils, government agencies, clubs, childcare centres and corporate clients. Outside Christmas it books Easter bunnies and a broad range of variety acts, including magicians, face painters, balloon twisters and animal farms for kids. Prices aren't published, so each booking is quoted. Christmas dates tend to book out well ahead, and the office takes calls on weekdays between 10am and 4pm.
