About The Roo Brothers Catering
The Roo Brothers Catering is a full-service outside caterer based in Neutral Bay, cooking for private parties, corporate functions and weddings across Sydney. Menus are built to order from a wide range: handmade hot and cold canapés, fork-food mini meals, share platters for long tables, buffets, formal two- and three-course dinners and a degustation option. Much of the cooking leans on native Australian produce, so kangaroo, emu, lemon myrtle, quandong, pepperberry and wattleseed turn up alongside more familiar dishes. Food stations are a big part of the offer. A chef works each one, cooking paella in traditional pans, grilling on the BBQ, rolling sushi, tossing noodles in a wok or shucking oysters while guests wander between them. There is a build-your-own burger and slider bar, a taco bar, yum cha baskets, dessert stations with lollies, doughnuts or gelato, and late-night options such as a sausage sizzle or carved ham with rolls. Grazing tables of charcuterie, mezze, cheese and small sweets can greet guests on arrival or come out later in the night. Vegan canapés and fork dishes have their own menu, and the team works through gluten-free, dairy-free and allergy needs with you before the event. For parties at home or in a park, the team can organise tables, chairs, glassware, cooking gear, marquees, umbrellas and rubbish removal, plus the staff to serve. They know the council rules for many harbourside spots, including Centennial Parklands, Clifton Gardens and Balmoral, and can help with venue choice, theming, flowers and lighting. Drinks packages range from signature cocktails and mocktails to fresh juices and an espresso machine, and seasonal menus cover Oktoberfest, Christmas in July, Melbourne Cup and NAIDOC Week.
