About Pure Gelato
Pure Gelato is a family-run gelato maker in Croydon Park, started by Joe, who learned his craft in the south of Italy, and his childhood friend Alfredo. The business produces more than 150 flavours in its own kitchen, including milk-based classics like hazelnut, chocolate and coffee and fruit gelato made from real pulp, sugar and water, all without artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. For events there are four ways to serve it. The traditional gelato cart comes with a staff member for up to three hours and either 300 mini waffle cones in six standard flavours, or six 5 litre tubs (around 280 portions) in flavours you pick from the full range, with cups, spoons and scoops supplied. The gelato bike is a smaller staffed option with 200 mini cones. For self-serve, the vintage Italian-style display freezers hold four flavours (around 160 portions) or seven flavours (around 300 portions), with cones or cups and accessories included. Carts and freezers suit indoor and outdoor events, from weddings and birthdays to christenings, school days and office functions. Delivery and pick-up during standard hours are part of each package, with extra charges for public holidays or venues out of the delivery area. Extra tubs, cones and a bottled water package can be added. Pure Gelato also makes decorated gelato cakes, and its fruit flavours are dairy free, though the mini waffle cones are not gluten or dairy free.

Yes. The pure fruit flavours are made from fruit pulp, sugar and water with no dairy, and there are gluten-free choices including fruit and several chocolate flavours. The mini waffle cones used in some packages are not gluten or dairy free, so ask about cups instead.
Can the gelato cart be used at an outdoor event?
