About Colliers Catering
Colliers Catering is a platter caterer working out of a kitchen in Woolloomooloo, close to the Sydney CBD. Most of the menu is made in house each day, from sauces and marinades to salads, and the team says nothing is frozen or bought in. Its mainstay is the sandwich box: a mix of white, grain and rye sandwiches plus wraps, with fillings such as roast beef and relish, chicken schnitzel, falafel and hummus or roast vegetables with pesto mayo, portioned at one and a half per guest. Beyond sandwiches, the range covers grazing platters of cheese, charcuterie, antipasto and crudités with house-made dips, salad platters such as falafel or spiced cauliflower and broccoli, and savouries like pumpkin arancini, mini quiches, petite steak or chicken and leek pies and extra-large vegetable spring rolls. There are Vietnamese rice paper roll platters, banh mi lunch boxes, aloo samosas, fruit platters and a long list of sweets, including mini sweet tarts, Nutella brownies, friands, Portuguese tarts and scones with cream. Themed menus turn up for Diwali, Chinese New Year, Easter and Halloween. The business is set up around offices, but the same platters suit birthday parties, club luncheons and family gatherings. Orders placed online by 2pm arrive the next day within a one-hour window, and a phone call can often squeeze in something urgent.
