About Liberty
Liberty joined the Karisma Cruises fleet in November 2023 as its small-group, drinks-your-way option. She is a 14-metre catamaran with a beam of close to 6 metres, which gives her a stable, wide deck for a boat of this length, and her twin hulls let the skipper bring her into the shallow, sandy bays that bigger vessels have to stay clear of. The layout is simple. A covered entertaining area sits in the middle with lounges, a sunbaking area and 360-degree views, and the inside is air conditioned. Built-in bar fridges and storage bins under the benches keep drinks and spare ice cold, the Bluetooth sound system plays your own playlist, and swim stairs lead down to the water. There is one bathroom with a toilet and a hot shower, and smoking is allowed in the areas the crew points out. Liberty is a BYO vessel for drinks. Bring your own food or order one of the simple drop-off catering options, and ice, cups and the other amenities are included in the BYO fees. She is licensed for 36, though Karisma suggests that groups of more than 30 look at Karisma I for extra room. A DJ, an inflatable raft and a floating dock can be added for a fee.
