About Athena
Athena is a fully restored timber cruiser with genuine old-Sydney charm, built around an open-plan, single-level layout that suits socialising and dancing rather than splitting guests across multiple decks. Built-in bench seating, large timber trestle tables and a handcrafted bar give her a warmer feel than the usual charter boat. She's licensed for up to 48 but Easy Boat Hire caps bookings at 35 guests for comfort. Onboard you'll find a Bluetooth sound system, 240V power, a DJ-friendly setup, a TV, a BBQ and eskies for chilled storage – plus two onboard bathrooms and a swim ladder for anyone tempted by a dip. Most wharves around the harbour are available, including King St Wharf, Circular Quay and Rose Bay, though a small number (Double Bay, Kirribilli, Cremorne Wharf and anywhere under the Spit Bridge) aren't serviced. Lunchtime cruises need to start by 1pm; evening cruises run from 5pm onwards.

Athena's out on the water daily – get in touch to confirm your date against our live calendar. Lunch charters need to start by 1pm, and evening charters run from 5pm.
Wharf Locations
Most of the harbour is on the table here: King St Wharf, Towns Place, the Eastern Pontoon at Circular Quay, Yeend St in Balmain, Lavender Bay, Watsons Bay, Mosman Bay, Old Cremorne Wharf, Rose Bay, Yarranabee, Clontarf and Manly are all workable, subject to availability, with a $150 surcharge for anything west of the Harbour Bridge. A handful of spots are off-limits altogether – Double Bay, Kirribilli, Cremorne Wharf, Man O'War at Campbells Cove, and anywhere under the Spit Bridge.
Pre-Loading
Want food and drinks onboard early? Clontarf Marina takes drop-offs the day before or morning of, for a $100 handling fee. Prefer to decorate in person instead? Pre-access on the day runs $100 per half hour, availability permitting.

Juliet is a devoted mother from Sydney's North Shore who somehow also runs one of the most impressive charter operations on the harbour – five boats and counting, including Athena. Known for her energy, professionalism and warmth, she's built a loyal following and a thriving fleet, whether it's a lively party cruise or an elegant private charter.
