About Classic Limousines Newcastle
Classic Limousines Newcastle keeps three ivory Austin Vanden Plas Princess limousines at Croudace Bay, on the eastern shore of Lake Macquarie. The business has been chauffeuring couples for over 25 years, first as Absolute Vintage Elegance Limousines, and these particular cars have long been part of weddings around the lake, the Newcastle beaches and inland at Hunter Valley vineyards. Katryna and Eddy have owned it since 2021; Eddy spent years playing music at weddings and functions, and Katryna comes from nursing. The cars were coachbuilt by hand in London during the 1950s and 1960s, and all three match. Six passengers fit in each, on leather among timber panels of English walnut and oak, with chrome trim, thick carpet and air-conditioning for a warm Newcastle afternoon. The rear doors swing wide, which makes getting in and out in a full dress far easier. On the day, drivers wear black, hold the doors, watch the schedule and work alongside any family cars travelling in the convoy. When you stop for photos by the lake or the ocean, they pour complimentary bubbles, lemonade and water and bring out strawberries and nibbles, with eskies and ice ready for any drinks you supply. Umbrellas, blankets, towels, a Bluetooth speaker and sewing and cleaning kits ride along in every car. There is no set price list; each couple gets a quote matched to their plans, and an inspection of the limousines can be arranged before you book. Your date is held after the booking fee has been paid and the signed contract sent back. Children seven and younger cannot ride in the cars.

Where are the limousines based?
The cars are kept at Croudace Bay on Lake Macquarie and drive weddings across Newcastle and around the lake, with trips to Port Stephens, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley wineries too.
How many people can travel in each car?
Six passengers ride in each Princess limousine, so booking all three matching cars moves a sizeable bridal party in one convoy.
Can the cars stop for photos at the beach or by the lake?
Yes. Couples often stop for photos by Lake Macquarie or the Newcastle coastline, and each car carries blankets and towels for sand and umbrellas for rain or sun.
Are drinks provided during the photo stop?
Drivers serve complimentary bubbles, lemonade and water with strawberries and nibbles. Eskies with ice are supplied if you would like to bring your own drinks.
Can young children ride in the limousines?
No. Children aged seven and under are not allowed in the cars, so flower girls or page boys that young will need to travel with family.
