Jackson Broadway is a Newcastle covers act built around Justin and Tim. Booked as a duo, or as a trio with their backing band for a bigger sound, they play weddings along with private and corporate functions around Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Their music is pop and rock, pairing classics with newer hits, and a night typically moves from relaxed dinner listening into a full dance floor. The band is self-contained. Their own sound system, lights and AV patching arrive with them, so couples and event organisers have nothing extra to hire. Requests are welcome, the formal parts of the night are handled, and a song that matters to you can be learned if it is not already in their repertoire. A battery-powered speaker lets them play a ceremony or canapé set away from the main room, handy for outdoor ceremonies. Prices are published up front. Five hours of reception music costs $2,000. With an extra hour for either canapés or the ceremony the total is $2,250, and with both it is $2,500. Work functions begin at $1,500 for the duo, and the trio is an extra $500 on any package. Travel within 100 km of Newcastle costs nothing extra, which comfortably covers venues around the city and Lake Macquarie and reaches into the Hunter Valley. Anything further away is quoted separately.
