About The Epicurean Red Hill
The Epicurean Red Hill occupies the old Red Hill coolstore and packing shed, built in 1921, at 165 Shoreham Road in Red Hill South. Its restaurant serves rustic, seasonal Italian food designed to be shared. Weddings are planned by the venue's own wedding team. Full receptions in The Shed, the main space of about a thousand square metres, take between 100 and 220 guests, and the space is booked for exclusive use with pricing on application. The Shed's interior, by the design studio Hecker Guthrie, mixes concrete, timber, steel and stone while keeping the coolstore's bones. Smaller weddings use the other rooms instead. Birthdays and other milestone dinners suit the smaller rooms. The Private Dining Room has floor-to-ceiling linen drapes, ornate mirrors and one long table for 25 to 40, while the Barrel Room, lined with local oak barrels, takes 40 to 70. The Alfresco opens onto the Merricks trail and takes 25 to 40. Menus are served share-style to the whole table, dietary needs are handled when final numbers are confirmed, and you are welcome to bring a birthday cake. A beverage package is required for events of 40 or more guests. Send an enquiry to receive the event package or the wedding brochure.
