About Rye Hotel

The Rye Hotel sits on Point Nepean Road facing the Rye foreshore, with Port Phillip Bay across the road. Alongside its sports bar and bistro, the pub keeps four separate rooms for private events. The Verve Bar holds the most guests and is set upstairs above the Main Sail Bar with water views, its own bar, a private terrace and lift access. It takes up to 180 guests for a stand-up party and has a TV, music set-up and its own amenities. Downstairs, the Blue Water Room has beach-facing windows, a separate entrance and a private bar, seating 80 or holding 100 standing. The Gazebo is a smaller room within the bistro with a green wall and a roof that opens, seating up to 26 – a good fit for hens lunches or a work lunch. The Bridge Room, in the poolside building, suits meetings and conferences for about 30, with a projector, screen, microphone and two balconies. Half-day and full-day conference catering is offered here. Food comes from the hotel kitchen as finger-food or substantial platters, or as a set menu of two or three courses with alternate-drop mains, and a buffet can be requested. Dietary needs are handled when you book. Packages for the Blue Water Room and the Verve Bar cover five hours of hire, set-up, linen, staff, full AV, a security guard, platters and a prepaid bar tab. Hosts can also run their own bar tab or let guests buy drinks themselves.
