About Hotel Sorrento
Hotel Sorrento stands on Hotham Road in Sorrento, set high above Port Phillip Bay. It combines a boutique hotel with a dining room, several bars, a rooftop and a lawn, and its events team handles everything from small private dinners to larger gatherings. For seated celebrations there are three dining rooms to choose from. The Wine Room takes up to 10 guests, the Austin Room seats up to 20 around a handcrafted table beside a fireplace, and the semi-private Hotham Room fits up to 36 for long-table feasts against old limestone walls. Salt Bar, The Rooftop, The Lawn and the Poolside Bar can also be requested for events. The Rooftop is an open-air terrace facing the bay, with private booths for groups of up to 10 and a dedicated booth server. Shihuishi, the hotel's Cantonese restaurant, takes private dining bookings or exclusive hire, and its Speakeasy Listening Room is a private room for up to 15 with music of your choosing. Corporate groups can use the Cooper Room for up to 100 delegates, with AV and team activities such as yoga, wine tasting or a cocktail masterclass. Hens packages start with a two-hour private dining lunch at $79 per person, which includes Prosecco on arrival and a two-course Feed Me menu. Longer packages add a beverage package, and rooftop booths for up to 10 are from $1,500 with food, two bottles of Prosecco and a bar tab. Birthdays and engagement parties can be built around shared menus, cocktails and personalised styling. Send an enquiry to book with the events team.
