About Ceremonies By Gracie
Ceremonies By Gracie is Grace De Battista, an authorised marriage celebrant who lives and works on the Mornington Peninsula. She guides couples through the legal side of getting married and writes a ceremony around their own story. Grace was drawn to the role after her own wedding, inspired by a celebrant whose easy-going warmth and humour made the day feel relaxed. She aims to keep couples calm in the lead-up and lets them choose between a short, simple ceremony and a longer, more detailed one. Two packages are offered. The legals-only or elopement option suits a small gathering, often just two witnesses, with minimal wording. The Modern Wedding package adds readings, personal vows and a bridal party, with unlimited consultations and a rehearsal. Both packages cover the Notice of Intended Marriage, preparing and performing the ceremony and lodging the legal documents afterwards. Grace has her own PA system and can help with music on the day. She can include cultural or religious elements, and she welcomes every couple. Ceremonies can be held at beaches, wineries, restaurants or at home. Grace books just one ceremony on any given date, so her attention stays on that wedding.
