About TÁVOLA
TÁVOLA is an Italian restaurant at 309 Centre Road in Bentleigh, cooking homemade pasta and classic dishes in a warm, old-style dining room. White tablecloths, bentwood chairs and walls hung with framed photographs set the tone. Rather than a separate private room, the restaurant offers full-venue hire, so your group has the whole space to itself. It seats up to about 33 people, usually at long tables, which suits a birthday, an engagement dinner or a work lunch. For end-of-year functions the kitchen serves a two-course menu at $89 per person. It starts with the most-ordered entrées to share, followed by a main of each guest's choice with shared sides, and other set menus are sent on request. The everyday menu runs from antipasti such as fritto misto and truffle arancini to pastas like lamb ragù rigatoni, wagyu tagliata and desserts including tiramisu and cannoli. Most allergies and dietary needs can be handled with notice. The restaurant is fully licensed, and lunches from Thursday to Sunday are BYO wine with a $15 corkage charge per bottle. You can bring your own cake as long as you let the team know beforehand. Lunch runs from 12 pm to 2.30 pm Thursday to Sunday, and dinner from 5 pm most nights, with Tuesday closed.
