About Prince Dining Room @ The Prince
The Prince is a long-standing St Kilda hotel at 2 Acland Street, home to a boutique hotel, a live music bandroom and several function spaces. The Prince Dining Room is its main dining room, available to book privately for groups. The room is bright by day, with natural light, curved banquette seating and outlooks towards the bay. In the evening its corners turn cosier, which suits a birthday dinner, a work celebration or a dinner for clients. It seats 60 guests, and the venue lists up to 120 for a cocktail-style event. For a larger function it can be combined with the Atrium and the Sainthill Room as part of an exclusive hire of the first floor, which takes 100 seated or 250 standing. Food comes from The Prince's own kitchen. Canapé packages run from six canapés at $40 per person, and seated menus range from two shared courses at $90 per person to three alternate-drop courses at $124 per person, with grazing boards and platters as extras. Drinks can be set up as a classic, premium or deluxe package for two to four hours, or charged on consumption. Vegetarian, vegan, low-gluten and low-dairy options are marked across the menus. An events manager looks after the details, and on-site parking and accommodation in the hotel upstairs make it easy for guests to stay on. Send an enquiry to book.
