About Omnia Bistro & Bar
Omnia is a European-style bistro and bar at 625 Chapel Street, South Yarra, right where Chapel Street meets Toorak Road. The kitchen leans on Australian seasonal produce, ages its own meat in house and bakes its bread on site. The restaurant is divided into three areas with quite different feels. The Conservatory sits under a glass ceiling and fills with daylight, the Barrel Room is smaller and more intimate, and the Main Bar carries the livelier end of the evening. Omnia hosts both semi-private and fully private functions, so a celebration can take one section or run across the restaurant. Groups of seven or more dine from set menus, and tables of up to 12 can be reserved online. Dinner set menus are $125, $145 and $165 per person, stepping up from a chef's selection of shared dishes to a signature menu built around dry-aged duck. A shorter lunch menu is $75 per person, and extras such as oysters, caviar, dressed crab or steak tartare can be added. The bar mixes classic cocktails with house twists, and the sommelier looks after a deep wine cellar from Australia and abroad. A cheese trolley is a popular alternative to dessert, and the pastry team can make a celebration cake on request. Most dietary requirements can be catered for with notice. Online reservations take groups of up to 12 guests. For anything larger, or for a semi-private or private function, send an enquiry with your date and numbers.
What do the group set menus cost?
The lunch group menu is $75 per person. At dinner there are three menus: the Chef's Selection at $125, the Seasonal Selection at $145 with a choice of entrée, main and dessert, and the Omnia Signature at $165 per person.
Can Omnia be booked for a private function?
Yes. The bistro takes both semi-private and fully private functions across its Conservatory, Barrel Room and Main Bar areas. Send an enquiry to talk through which suits your group.
