About Greenfields Albert Park
Greenfields is a dedicated event venue on the corner of Lakeside Drive and Queens Road, beside Albert Park Lake and the Albert Park Golf Course. The pavilion is booked by one event at a time, so no other function runs alongside yours. The main space has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the course, an in-room bar and a cloakroom. Indoor and outdoor areas include a decking area, the glassed Sunlounge and the outdoor Sunset Deck, which is often used for ceremonies, plus a private green room. Seated on long timber tables with a dance floor, the room takes 160 guests, or 200 seated without the dance floor. Cocktail events can hold up to 650 people, with high tables and lounge areas set around a central dance floor. In-house chefs prepare canapé and sit-down menus, and the kitchen caters for a wide range of dietary needs with 14 days' notice. Drinks are served by the venue under its liquor licence, so no outside alcohol is allowed. The in-house PA plays from a Spotify playlist, and there is a lectern, handheld and roaming microphones, rigging bars and wi-fi. Bands and DJs bring their own gear, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible and events can run until 1am. Each booking gets one Event Manager from the first enquiry to the day itself. Minimum spends depend on the day, season and event type, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers for a tailored package.

For private events, cakeage is $2.50 per person roaming or $7.50 per person plated, and an approved external food supplier such as a gelato cart is $250. Extra bump-in or bump-out time is $400 an hour.

How many guests can Greenfields Albert Park hold?
With a dance floor in place the room seats 160, and without it 200 can sit down. Cocktail-style events can take up to 650 guests.
Is the venue exclusive to our event?
Yes. When you book, the whole venue is yours for the length of your event and no other function runs at the same time.
What AV is available?
There is an in-house PA connected to Spotify, wi-fi, three-phase power, rigging bars, a lectern and both hands-free and roaming microphones. The PA can't take external connections, so bands and DJs need to bring their own speakers and equipment.
Can we bring our own cake or drinks?
A bought cake is fine for private events, with cakeage of $2.50 per person roaming or $7.50 per person plated, but home-baked goods are not allowed. No outside drinks can be brought in under the liquor licence.
How late can events run, and is there parking?
The venue is licensed until 1am. Around 115 metered car spaces are shared with the golf course, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
