Beverly is a restaurant and cocktail bar on Level 24 of Goldfields House, at 627 Chapel Street in South Yarra, with the entrance on Daly Street. Windows wrap the open-plan floor, so the views run across the city skyline and down to the bay, and there are indoor and outdoor lounges alongside a dining room, a busy bar and a semi-private dining area. The kitchen cooks seasonal Victorian produce with a Southern Californian lean. Functions are sized to the group. Group bookings of 8 to 30 take the dining room on the $120 per person Chef's Selection menu. Skyline Dining seats 31 to 45 along the windows on the same menu, Half Venue Dining gives 46 to 60 guests one side of the room for four hours, and a Bar Takeover ropes off a bar area for 29 to 50 with drinks and bar snacks. Exclusive hire of the whole venue holds up to 145 seated or 190 standing, with flexible layouts, styling and a DJ arranged through the events team. Beverly Bespoke, a long semi-private table seating as many as 14, runs a $160 per person chef's menu. Live bands are not possible because of the room's acoustics. A set menu is required for every group or event booking, and the kitchen can cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests with notice. Drinks run on Classic, Gold or zero-alcohol packages over four or five hours, with arrival cocktails or spirit upgrades on request. A 50% deposit and signed agreement secure the date, and minimum spends for half-venue, bar and exclusive formats depend on the day, time and season. Lift access, wheelchair-accessible seating and accessible restrooms are provided, and South Yarra Station and several tram routes are nearby.
