Christmas Party Venues in Preston

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

On The Stolberg's own list of events, work and Christmas parties sit alongside corporate functions and product launches. Its party room, Likor Lounge @ The Stolberg at 197 Plenty Road, Preston, has a separate entrance and private bar, which keeps the office celebration apart from the pub's regular drinkers.

What an organiser gets with the room:

Room for a whole workplace: 80 to 240 in a cocktail layout.
The CEO's speech and the year-in-review slides are covered by a stage, projector, TV and AV system.
Private toilets and bar mean staff stay together in one space all night.
Heating and cooling are included – useful for a warm December evening.
The courtyard attached to the room gives a quieter corner for people who want to talk rather than dance.

Prices for function food and drinks aren't published, so the quickest route is an enquiry listing the date, head count and budget per person. For teams under 80, the pub's other function rooms take groups from around 25.

Choose a sit-down menu for a formal dinner or cocktail-style food for a stand-up mixer – the functions team plans either.
A DJ booth is built in, so the party can move from thank-you speeches to dancing without changing rooms.
Theme nights are part of the brief: the team helps fit the event to a theme as well as a budget.
Leather booths around the edges give mixed-seniority groups places to sit and talk away from the dance floor.

Checks for the office organiser

Wheelchair users can't reach the Likor Lounge, so ask about your team's access needs before you commit.
The Mahogany Room, the Stolberg Room and the Garden Bar are the alternatives for a smaller department.
The bar carries a wine list, craft beer and cocktails for the drinks plan.
With lunch and dinner served at the pub most days, an organiser can drop by beforehand.
