LR Photography Melbourne is a team of Melbourne-based party photographers who come to your venue or home and cover the event as it happens. Their work spans 21st and 50th birthdays, engagement parties and proposals, bridal showers and hens celebrations, christenings and baptisms, and launch parties and other commercial functions. Every photographer on the team shoots on a full-frame camera, using a fast 50mm lens for soft-background portraits and a wide lens that keeps large group shots straight. All of them follow the same editing process, so the gallery has one consistent look regardless of who was behind the camera on the night. The minimum booking is two hours, which suits parties of up to about 60 guests. The team suggests three hours for up to 150 guests and four or more for bigger crowds or long sit-down dinners. As a rough guide you can expect around 100 photos for each hour of coverage. After the event the photographers go through every frame, remove doubles and closed eyes, edit the keepers and upload them to an online gallery, aiming for seven business days. Small tweaks such as crops or colour changes can be requested afterwards. Video is also available: the team estimates roughly one minute of finished film for each hour of filming at an event of about 100 guests.
