About Neiyo
Neiyo is a Melbourne wedding and event photographer working from a studio on Dover Street in Cremorne. She has been taking photos professionally for 18 years, and her background in psychology, along with years living in the US, Germany and Hong Kong, shapes a calm and warm way of working that helps camera-shy guests relax. Her style is photojournalistic: golden light, easy laughter and the small details that are easy to miss, captured as they happen rather than staged. She shoots on both digital and 35mm film, and film can be added to any of her packages for a softer, timeless look. For weddings, she builds a package around each couple's day. During the reception she sets aside 30 to 60 minutes for couple portraits, which also gives the pair some quiet time together. Depending on the coverage chosen, couples receive 500 to 900 edited images in colour and black and white, and her retouching stays light so the photos look like the day felt. Her galleries also include engagement parties, garden ceremonies and long-table dinners. Outside weddings, Neiyo photographs events for luxury fashion, jewellery, beauty and hospitality brands.
