About PY-PHOTO
PY-PHOTO is the business of Yuri, a Melbourne photographer with more than ten years of experience photographing people – from leadership teams and full-company events to families and weddings. His style mixes careful composition with candid, documentary coverage, and he shoots on full-frame Canon mirrorless cameras with professional prime lenses. Corporate events make up a large part of his work: conferences, gala dinners, trade shows, product launches, staff recognition dinners and networking events, along with team celebrations. He works quietly in the crowd so guests stay relaxed, steps in to pose individuals and groups when needed, and can match lighting and editing to a company's brand guidelines. A small set of edited images can be supplied during the event for social media. Private celebrations get the same approach. He photographs milestone birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms and bar and bat mitzvahs, combining candid moments with guided family portraits, and uses silent shooting where a ceremony calls for it. Wedding coverage runs from getting ready through the ceremony, portraits, speeches and dancing. Every gallery is edited in-house in his signature style and delivered through a private online gallery – corporate events within three business days, family events within four and weddings within seven.
