About Maggie C Collective
Maggie C Collective is a décor hire business working from a warehouse in Springvale. Founder Maggie Chen started it in 2019 after planning her son's wedding and finding that good-looking backdrops came with steep wedding prices, so the team began building and sourcing its own pieces to hire out at fairer rates. The range is built around photo backdrops. Arches and sails come in ripple, fluted, step and plain finishes and in a wide spread of colours – white, blush, sage, mint, cream, red, blue, black, yellow and more. They pair with tall faux flower columns and corner sprays, round and wide-top plinths, arbours, decal boards and small welcome signs. Decals can be added to personalise an arch with names or a message. To make choosing easier, the website shows ready-made sets, each listing every piece and its price, from a white ripple set with soft florals to bold red, blue or purple combinations. Any set can be adjusted by swapping or dropping pieces, and an online calculator gives an instant quote. Maggie C Collective also makes custom fabric signs – welcome signs, seating charts and event signs printed with your wording – that sit alongside the backdrops at weddings, engagements and showers. A booking can be kept for as long as three days.
