About Marquee Monkeys
Marquee Monkeys is a Melbourne marquee and party hire company working out of a warehouse in Clayton South. Owner Dom and his team supply and build marquees for weddings, milestone birthdays, engagements, corporate functions and community days in backyards, parks and private gardens right across the city. The range covers white, black and clear-roof marquees. The 6m-wide tents start at 6 x 3m, which seats around 15 guests, and extend in 3m sections to 6 x 30m for about 150 seated. Wider 10m and 15m clearspan structures handle bigger crowds, going up to 15 x 30m for roughly 360 seated or more than 500 standing. Because the frames are modular, the length can be matched to the space rather than forcing a fixed size. Every job starts with a free site inspection. The team measures the area, checks access, then turns the brief into a CAD drawing so you can see how the tent, tables and dance floor will sit before anything is booked. On the day the crew delivers and builds the marquee, and after the event they return to dismantle it and leave the site as they found it. Alongside the marquee you can hire trestle and round tables, chairs, lounge settings and bar tables, timber or white-wash dance floors, synthetic grass and carpet, festoon lights and chandeliers, heaters, linen and dinnerware. The team is used to working alongside florists, stylists and caterers, so the structure and furniture are ready when the rest of your suppliers arrive.
