About Victoria Event Hire
Victoria Event Hire is a Melbourne marquee company that puts up white pavilion marquees for backyard parties, garden weddings and work functions. The crew delivers the frame, installs it and comes back to pack everything down once the event is over. Marquees come in four widths – 3, 4, 5 and 6 metres – and in lengths from 4 to 12 metres, so a small 4 x 3 m cover for a family lunch and a 12 x 6 m structure for a long seated reception both sit on the same price table. Longer and custom-sized builds are quoted on request. The walls have clear window panels and zip openings, so the sides can stay down in wind or be rolled up when the weather is kind. For a simpler booking there are three bundles. The Classic pairs a 4 x 6 m marquee with 28 white chairs, four six-foot trestles and lighting; the Signature steps up to a 5 x 10 m frame with 60 chairs and 10 trestles; the Corporate covers 96 guests under a 6 x 12 m marquee. Side walls can be added to any of them. The add-on list fills out the space: trestle and high bar tables, white plastic and Americana chairs, bar stools, festoon and curtain fairy lights, dance floor panels, artificial grass and outdoor gas heaters. What is the smallest marquee available?
The smallest size on the price table is a 4 x 3 m pavilion marquee at $400, which suits a compact backyard gathering. The 3 m width runs out to 12 m long, and wider 4, 5 and 6 m frames are available too.
Is installation included in the price?
Yes. Every marquee hire includes delivery, installation by the crew and pack-down after the event, so there is nothing to put up or take down yourself.
What comes in the marquee packages?
The Classic package ($699) has a 4 x 6 m marquee, 28 white chairs, four six-foot trestles and lighting. The Signature ($1149) is 5 x 10 m with 60 chairs and 10 trestles, and the Corporate ($1599) is 6 x 12 m with 96 chairs and 15 trestles.
Can I add heating and a dance floor?
Yes. Outdoor gas heaters are $100 each, dance floor panels are $10 per square metre and artificial grass is $5 per square metre, alongside festoon and fairy lights for evening events.
