About Jumpariffic Castles
Jumpariffic Castles is a family-owned jumping castle hire business based in Dandenong. It keeps a small fleet of five licensed character castles for kids' birthdays, festivals, community days and other events, and takes bookings seven days a week between 8am and 9pm. The five castles are Scooby Doo, Disney Princess, Cars, Dora the Explorer and Looney Tunes. Each is fully enclosed with mesh walls, so adults can see in while the kids are shaded. Scooby Doo and Dora are combo castles with a large bouncing area, a basketball ring, a climbing section and a fast slide, and need a space of about 6m x 5m. Disney Princess and Cars are bouncers that need about 4.5m x 4.5m, and Looney Tunes adds a big slide and obstacles. Every castle comes with sun and rain covers. After you choose a castle, the team delivers it, sets it up in roughly 15 to 25 minutes and gives a short safety briefing, then comes back at the end of the hire to take it down. Any level surface works, from lawn and bare earth to concrete, pavers or bitumen; if pegs cannot be driven in, let the team know ahead of time. Payment is in cash on the day before set-up, or by direct deposit cleared before the event. There is no cancellation fee, which helps with Melbourne's weather. Overnight and public holiday hire can be arranged, with a surcharge on public holidays.
