About Aussie Events & Amusements
Aussie Events & Amusements is a family-owned hire company based in Dandenong South. It supplies school fetes, community days and backyard birthdays with jumping castles, inflatables and carnival rides, and its team delivers and sets up the equipment before the party starts. The inflatable range covers character jumping castles such as a pirate castle, an animal safari castle with slide, farmyard and superhero themes, along with an inflatable maze, a large castle-style play area and several obstacle courses. Slides include fire-engine and ocean-themed models plus a giant inflatable water slide and a slip and slide for warm weather. For younger guests there is a soft play set with a ball pit, while older children can try inflatable games such as soccer darts, basketball, hoopla, bubble soccer and a disco dome. If a party grows into a larger family day, the same company can add rides like a mini train, bumper cars, a carousel and a rock climbing wall. The operators are uniformed and hold Working With Children Checks, inflatables follow the Australian Standard for amusement devices and are inspected each year, and the company carries public liability insurance. When quoting, it asks about the ground surface, access from the vehicle, stairs and whether power is within 20 metres. Send an enquiry with your date, address and the castle you like for a quote.

Frequently asked questions
What surfaces can a jumping castle go on?
The booking form covers grass, synthetic turf, asphalt and indoor floors. Castles are normally staked down; where stakes cannot be used, concrete weights are supplied for an extra charge.
Do I need power for the castle?
Inflatables need a power point within about 20 metres of the set-up spot. If there is no power nearby, the company can quote for a generator as part of the booking.
Who sets the castle up?
The Aussie Events & Amusements team delivers, sets up and packs down. When quoting they ask how far the set-up point is from the vehicle, whether there are stairs and if there is lighting for a pack-up after dark.
What other inflatables can I hire for a kids' party?
Beyond castles there are inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a maze, soft play with a ball pit, bubble soccer and inflatable games such as soccer darts, basketball and hoopla.
Is the equipment safety checked?
Rides and inflatables follow Australian Standard AS 3533 and are inspected each year. Operators wear uniforms and hold Working With Children Checks, and the business holds public liability cover.
