Bounce Around Inflatables & Party Hire is a Pakenham business that hires jumping castles and inflatables across Melbourne's south-east. Its range runs from a toddler safari combo to large themed castles and inflatable obstacle courses. Most castles are combo units, with a bouncing area, slide, basketball hoop and pop-up obstacles inside. Themes include dinosaurs, fairies, princesses, Barbie, Hot Wheels, superheroes and dragons, and a customisable birthday castle can carry the child's name. The medium combos hold up to 13 children at once, while the glitter castles take up to 15. For bigger groups there are inflatable obstacle courses such as the Game Runner, Level-Up and Xtreme Gamer Run. Many castles also fit indoors in halls and gyms, which helps in winter. The team delivers, stakes and inflates every castle before the hire time begins and returns afterwards to pack it down. Castles need a grass, dirt or crushed rock surface for the stakes, plus one standard power point within about 20 metres. Safety drives the rules. Inflatables stay dry, only run in wind gusts under 30 km/h and are collected in daylight, with overnight hire available for later finishes. How much space does a castle need?
It depends on the castle. Each product page lists the inflatable's size and the space needed, which includes room for the blower, safety mats and access around the castle, and the team can suggest a unit for your yard.
Can a jumping castle go on concrete?
Outdoor castles must be staked with 400 mm pegs, so they need grass, dirt or crushed rock. Many units can be set up indoors on suitable flooring in halls, gyms and function rooms.
What happens if it rains or gets windy?
Outdoor inflatables are not run in rain or in gusts above 30 km/h. If a hire is cancelled for weather, any payment for the outdoor inflatable is refunded, and no deposit is taken for them.
Does my hire time include set-up?
No. The castle is set up before your booked start time and collected after it ends, so the hours you book are all play time. Outdoor castles are collected in daylight, or kept overnight for later events.
Is delivery included?
Delivery is free on orders over $240 within 25 km of Pakenham. Addresses outside that zone may attract a travel fee, and customers cannot collect inflatables themselves.
