About Karting Madness Braybrook

Karting Madness Braybrook is a large indoor karting venue in Braybrook, with the main entrance and car park off Evans Street. Its circuit runs for more than 400 metres, mixing quick straights with technical corners and plenty of places to pass. Adult drivers aged 14 and up use European-built Sodi karts with Honda engines that can reach 80 km/h, while rookie karts suit eight to 13 year olds, electric mini karts take four to eight year olds, and dual karts let an adult driver carry a passenger aged four to 14. Live timing records every lap, and you can grab a printout of your times afterwards. For parties and work events, the group packages hand the track to your group alone. The adult KMAD package pairs an eight-minute qualifying run with a 25-lap grid-start race, and longer formats stretch to 40 and 60 laps. Juniors aged eight to 13 have their own package with a medallion for the winner. Packages need at least eight drivers and an arrival 30 minutes early, and larger groups can ask about hiring the whole track. Function tables can be added for one or two hours and decorated for birthdays, bucks and hens nights, Christmas parties or corporate days. Off the track there's a multi-level Star Wars–themed laser tag arena for players six and over, ten-pin bowling for all ages, an arcade room with pool tables, and a licensed café. A strict zero blood-alcohol rule applies, with breath tests before racing, so drinks come afterwards. Every first-time visitor pays a once-off membership fee. Enclosed shoes are required, and drivers aged 14 to 17 must bring photo ID and a guardian to sign the waiver.

Frequently asked questions

How much does go-karting at Karting Madness Braybrook cost?

A single adult race is listed at $55, with extra adult races at $40 and junior races at $45. Group packages run from $85 per driver for KMAD to $110 for the 40-lap KEXTREME. First-time visitors add a once-off $10 membership.

How old do you need to be to drive?

Adult karts are for drivers 14 and over who are at least 150 cm tall, with photo ID for under-18s. Rookie karts take eight to 13 year olds from 130 cm, mini karts suit ages four to eight, and dual karts carry passengers four to 14 with a driver over 18.

Can we have the track to ourselves for a party?

Yes. Every group package gives your party sole use of the track, needs a minimum of eight drivers and must be booked ahead, with everyone arriving 30 minutes before the first race. Larger groups can also enquire about private track hire.

Is there food and drink at the venue?

A licensed café serves coffee, sweet treats and drinks, and function tables can be hired for $30 for an hour or $50 for two hours, though food isn't included. Drivers are breath-tested and must blow 0.00 before racing, so alcohol is for afterwards.

What else is there besides go-karts?

The venue has a Star Wars–themed laser tag arena over several levels for players six and up (minimum four players), ten-pin bowling from $15 a game, an arcade room with ticket games and prizes, and pool tables.
