About Prodigy Events Vic
Prodigy Events Vic is an event planning and styling business based in Ivanhoe, working with couples and families across Melbourne on weddings, engagements, birthdays, christenings, baby showers and kids' parties. The team focuses on events that look styled without stretching the budget, and will step in for as much or as little of the planning as a client wants. For weddings there are four published coordination packages. The short-day option gives couples three hours of hands-on help on the day for setting up a ceremony area or finishing the reception styling. Longer packages add preparation meetings, vendor confirmations two weeks out, a written run sheet, rehearsal coordination and venue inspections, up to ten hours on the day with an assistant. A full planning service with a dedicated planner is also available, and a same-day pack-down service helps with venues that have strict bump-out rules. Styling is where much of the work shows. Prodigy designs themes from a colour palette upwards and supplies balloon garlands, floral backdrops, arches, plinths, light-up letters and numbers, bridal and groom room setups, and custom wedding centrepieces. Food styling is part of the offer too, with grazing tables, platters, candy and dessert bars. For parties, the team plans games, themes and party bags for kids, and runs adult novelty parties for birthdays, showers and girls' nights. Delivery, set-up and installation is available throughout Melbourne, with the fee depending on the suburb.
